B.Ed Degree course has been recently opened/established at Mount Everest College of Teacher Education, Senapati as composite institution with 100 students for minimum 2 years duration with the NCTE mandate eligibility of Teacher Educators trainees after attaining the required B.Ed course certificate for teaching faculty in Secondary and Higher Secondary Education System. The B.Ed course being introduced at launching pad for meeting essential quality qualification required to teach school levels in India. Since Mount Everest College of Teacher Education, Senapati being centre equidistance between Imphal and Kohima, the establishement of the B.Ed course would be an alchemy in the era of Bacherlor of Education Degree Certificate for aspirants of teachings in schools in India. It is hope that Mount Everest College of Teacher Education would be shouldering the responsibilities of awarding deserving candidates for such degree certificate that would facilitate employability to teachers who entrusted to shape the nation's future. I extend the prospective trainees of teacher education, the teachers and the management board best wishes in this endeavor.
